Many children across the ​Isolo and Ilasa townships in ​Lagos, Nigeria, go to school ​each day without having ​had a meal. Food insecurity ​is a harsh reality for their ​families, who are often ​facing extreme financial ​hardships.

Their parents struggle to provide ​the basics, and while they work ​tirelessly to improve their ​circumstances, the immediate ​need for food remains a ​challenge.

As a result, these young ​learners endure hunger that ​affects their health, ​concentration, and overall ​well-being

No child should learn on ​an empty stomach.
